The Squeakiest Walk of Fame in Wisconsin.
Every year, the cheesemakers at Gardner's get a little wild. They take our famously squeaky-fresh Wisconsin cheddar curds and dust, douse, & dunk them with new flavor combinations to see what sticks. Some flavors run for a single small-batch window & vanish forever. Some come back every year. Some get inducted permanently into the lineup.

What flavors of cheese curds does Gardner's make?
Gardner's makes a rotating lineup of limited-edition flavored cheese curds in addition to the always-available Garlic & Dill, Maple Bacon, & Chili Cheese flavors. The hall of fame above covers every limited-edition flavor we have made, including Jalapeno, Hot Honey, Mango Fire, Sour Cream & Onion, Pizza, Buffalo Wing, Fiesta Taco, Blazin' Cajun, Honey BBQ, Everything Seasoned, Ranch, & Pumpkin Spice. New flavors get added regularly.
Why are flavored cheese curds limited edition?
To keep quality high. Flavored curds are made in small batches for very small production windows. That lets the cheesemakers focus on each batch & ship them fresh while the flavor is at its peak. The tradeoff is that flavors come & go — some return seasonally, some only run once.
Will retired flavors ever come back?
Sometimes yes, sometimes no. Some flavors are seasonal & return on a schedule (Pumpkin Spice in fall, BBQ flavors in summer). Others were one-time experiments. Customer demand drives a lot of comebacks — the more people ask for a flavor, the more likely it is to return. Worth checking back, & a subscription box is the best way to stay current on what is dropping.
Are the flavored cheese curds spicy?
Depends on the flavor. Mango Fire, Jalapeno, & Blazin' Cajun pack real heat. Hot Honey is a gentle warmth, not a punishing spice. Buffalo Wing is tangy & flavorful but not actually spicy. Fiesta Taco, Ranch, Sour Cream & Onion, Pizza, Honey BBQ, & Everything Seasoned are flavor-forward without any heat at all.
Are flavored cheese curds keto-friendly?
Yes, every flavored cheese curd in the lineup is extremely keto-friendly & gluten-free. Real cheese, real seasonings, no fillers. The seasonings add minimal carbs (a fraction of a gram per serving), so they fit comfortably into a keto eating pattern.
How long do flavored cheese curds stay fresh?
Eat or freeze your flavored curds within about 2 weeks of arrival for the best squeaky-fresh experience. Curds are the one cheese that actually freezes well — if you want to save some for later, freeze them in their original packaging & thaw to room temp before eating. Microwave for 5 to 10 seconds to bring back the squeak.
